As a registered counsellor, I provide ethical, professional, and trauma-informed therapeutic support. I create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and respected.

I use an integrative, evidence-based approach in my practice, tailoring therapy to meet everyone's unique needs and circumstances. By incorporating methodologies such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), person-centred therapy, and other relevant modalities, I empower my clients to develop practical coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and gain deeper self-awareness. My goal is to cultivate a supportive environment that promotes personal growth and resilience.

My approach is person-centred and collaborative. I work alongside my clients to understand their unique experiences, whether they are facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, or stress. Together, we will identify patterns, build resilience, and develop practical tools to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

I enjoy building relationships with my clients and finding a common ground we can use to build a supportive and goal-focused environment.

The client is in the driver seat, it is all about choice and collaboration. I believe being holistic is the only way to go as our mental health impacts every part of our life. I strive to help clients build healthy habits and routines in accordance with their desires.

I myself am very outgoing and love the outdoors and love to incorporate this into my work where possible.

Rebecca Czapnik

Individual Therapist - Somatic Practitioner

Rebecca Czapnik

Rebecca is a Somatic Practitioner with 15+ years experience exploring the mind-body connection. She brings a calm, non-judgmental energy allowing wellbeing to develop through safety and trust.

She focuses on regulating the nervous system and processing trauma through somatic (mind-body) practices that incorporate movement and touch to amplify the benefits of traditional psychology and psychotherapy.

Rebecca's approach is collaborative. Clients participate to build capacity for change in the body (and therefore mind and heart). As neural pathways transform, traumatic experiences repattern into something more life affirming. The relationship with self and others evolves.

Rebecca has worked across diverse communities with veterans, incarcerated women and at-risk youth and conditions such as addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD.

Options with Rebecca include a one-off therapy session focused on relaxing the nervous system or integration. Or embarking on a deeper exploration with sequential sessions cultivating safety, trust and comfort in the body.
